Dear Ladies and Gentlemen!<\/p>\n
We are pleased to inform you that France is one of the countries selected to participate in the R&A’s 9 hole Challenge this year. As part of this, two of the ffgolf 2023 licensees, a woman and a man, will have the opportunity to play the final of the 9 hole Challenge at the Royal Liverpool Course on 14 July, as a preview to the 151st edition of The Open Championship.<\/p>\n
The winner will be drawn from all ffgolf licensees of legal age who have participated in at least one 9 hole index competition on an ffgolf affiliated course between 1 April and 25 June 2023.<\/p>\n
We will be emailing all our licensees today to inform them of this exceptional opportunity from the R&A and the terms of the draw.<\/p>\n
Each of the two winners will receive :
\n– Three nights bed and breakfast accommodation at Thornton Hall Hotel (one accompanying person is possible provided the additional cost is covered).
\n– The cost of return travel to the venue of the Open from metropolitan France (excluding overseas territories and Corsica) and without an accompanying person.
\n– Of 2 tickets for 2 days of practice and for 1 day of the Championship. (The R&A will not cover the cost of accommodation at the Open).
\n– A welcome reception at Thornton Hall Hotel on Thursday 13 July (winner and accompanying person) attended by the R&A Captain, host club officials and R&A officials.
\n– A final dinner at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club on Friday 14 July (winner only) in the presence of the R&A Captain, R&A officials and host venue officials.
\n– Transfers from hotel to club and back and dinner on 14 July.
\n– Welcome goodies.<\/p>\n
Winners of the 9 hole Challenge final will each receive a trophy, products from the Open line and a voucher redeemable in the Open’s online shop. The runners-up will receive a Quaich, products from the Open line and a voucher, and the third place winners will receive a Quaich and a voucher.<\/p>\n
