At Soufflenheim Golf Course, we want to offer training in the game as well as how to behave on the course, according to the rules and etiquette published by the French Golf Federation, the FFG.<\/p>\n

Golf is an excellent game for youngsters, since it helps them to develop fine motor skills. It also teaches them to concentrate, to persevere and to deal with stressful situations.<\/p>\n

The golfing spirit conveys values of respect, for oneself and others, for the course and for the rules. It is a powerful vector of integration and reinforcement of self-esteem. Our facilities are perfectly suited to the needs of the youngest players.
\nTeaching is provided by Olivier SABOURIN, Geoff PERKINS and Jean-Yves MIGEOT. The equipment needed for the lessons is provided.<\/p>\n

FLAGS (“Drapeaux”) are a system of age and level-appropriate challenges which allow children to progress towards their first ranking.
\nWhile they are learning, children play on courses adapted to their level, whose difficulty increases as they progress:
\n\u2022 Discovery level (“Je d\u00e9couvre le jeu”) on the training greens (or around the pitch and putt holes) with holes 30 to 60 m long (Green and Red flags in 4 to 12 weeks).
\n\u2022 Learn-to-play level (“J\u2019apprends \u00e0 jouer”) on the 6-hole course and then on the 9-hole course using the forward tees, covering a total distance of between 1100 and 1375 m over 9 holes (former “Flags” course) (level: Blue, Yellow and White flags in 12 to 36 weeks).
\n\u2022 Introduction-to-competitions level (“Je d\u00e9couvre la comp\u00e9tition”) on the “young distance” course, where children play each hole from the official tees corresponding to the Federation’s recommendations for their age (level: White, Bronze and Silver flags in 30 to 90 weeks).

The awarding of the different Flags validates the youngsters’ progress up to a first ranking.
\nEach flag colour corresponds to a step on the road to autonomy.
\n1. Bronze Flag: should allow participation in Departmental competitions on P&P and compact courses.
\n2. Silver Flag: should allow participation in Departmental “young distance” 9-hole courses.
\n3. Gold Flag: should allow participation in Departmental “young distance” 18-hole courses.<\/p>\n

The most important thing:
\nChildren must have the opportunity to go and PLAY OFTEN ON THE COURSE (very important: practice, more practice and more practice again).

    Golf School<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • The pros in charge of the golf school are Goeff PERKINS and Olivier SABOURIN.<\/li>\n
      • only children under the age of 18 can join.<\/li>\n
      • we allow children who want to start to attend 2 or even 3 free sessions before they definitely sign up.<\/li>\n
      • the membership fee is made up of two components, namely:\n

        • The A.S.G.S. fee (the registration to the Golf School is only valid with the payment of the A.S.G.S. fee) (25\u20ac).<\/li>\n
        • The cost of the golf school courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
        • To whom is the registration fee paid?\n
            \n
          • Directly to the Soufflenheim Golf Club (in this case without being able to claim the tax relief of 60% of the amount paid).<\/li>\n
          • Paid to the A.S.G.S. association, which in this case allows you to benefit from the 60% tax advantage (the tax receipt is issued by the A.S.G.S.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • the children’s information and registration forms are available at the reception.<\/li>\n
          • children receiving golf lessons must have paid their fees (i.e. the two elements of golf and ASGS). Lydia will check this against the data provided by the ASGS. Lydia will arrange to contact parents to confirm with them the situation regarding payment of the various contributions.<\/li>\n
          • children who are not up to date will not be able to attend lessons at the Golf School.<\/li>\n

                    I have enjoyed my first lesson with the school and the golf teacher, I would like to get to know this sport better. I will take part in 5 one-hour sessions on Saturday mornings from 11am to 12pm in a group of maximum 10 children, which will include the following:<\/p>\n
